At long last the day has arrived and in 1 hour the taxi will be here to take us to the airport. I can’t believe I’m so organised that I can sit here on my computer posting on my blog… I think that as this is our 3rd visit to Australia it must be getting easier to know what to pack etc.
Anyway to all my friends that visit my blog I hope you all remain well and safe whilst I’m away and if I can get the chance I will try to pop in here on hols to let you know how it’s all going.
Love and hugs to everyone..
I know a strange subject but you may remember we had a challenge on our DSSA site to complete an layout with feet as the subject.. well this led onto another challenge and this one is to do a layout about our handbag and it’s contents.
I will not have time to complete the layout before going away but I have taken a couple of photo’s one of which is here showing a few of my bags. I must confess to collecting bags in the same way as I do with shoes but I didn’t want to shame myself by showing you all the bags I own…

This weekend has just flown by. I can’t really tell you what I’ve been doing as it’s been a mixture of many things but I suppose really nothing that ‘huge’..We did yesterday go into town to buy a few things and as those of you who visit me on a regular basis will know I now try keep my small camera with me at all times and yesterday was one of those times that I’m pleased I had it with me.
Having parked our car I could not help but notice the lovely bloom already on this plant – sorry I’ve no idea what it is but I’m sure some-one will know it!! So I took a photo and here it is.
Hope you’ve all had a great weekend and recharged your batteries ready for the coming week. I would also like to think that the weather will be as kind to us in the coming days as it was this past week – just like early Springtime.
These last few days I haven’t been on my blog as I’ve been giving as much time as possible to my friends who are going through a difficult time. Also I’m trying to get myself organised in readiness for our holiday to Australia. It’s hard to think that this time next Friday we will be on the plane to Singapore where we’re staying for 4 days before going onto Perth. Can’t wait to feel the lovely warmth of the summer sun although I must say how lucky we have been in this part of the UK with the weather throughout January and even the beginning of February has been lovely and sunny.
I did have a lovely surprise in the week when the Postman delivered this beautiful Postcard. It came from my blogging friend Mags who creates the most wonderful pieces of Art by using a combination of the computer, machine or hand embroidery and now has an embellishing machine from which she is creating the most stunning pieces of Art.
