Mixed Day….

Not sure about today as it’s been a mixed day of emotions, and happenings. A couple of good close friends taken into hospital for different reasons, waiting for phone calls to hear results…sort of ok but time will tell!

Anyway whilst waiting at home for the phone to ring I set up the first digital camera (Fuji4700) that I bought when digital started happening. I had already charged the batteries etc as I had decided that this little camera will live in my handbag so that in future there will be no ‘missed photo opportunity’ when I’m out and about. So having a little play with it I decided to take a photo of the throw over on our bed and here is a close up of the ‘not played with in photoshop’ together with the same photo ‘played with’ results…

This second photo is something very new to me and is just a basic play around within photoshop using a couple of the tools available…as I said very simple and I’ve not done anything like this before…

  1. Hi Bev, sorry about your friends. Hope all comes out okay.

I love your ‘experiment’. Unexpected surprises are such fun, though I’ve had a few dazzling results that I could not for the life of me repeat! Now I always keep my notepad handy.

  2. Hi Bev,

I hope the results of your friends are going to be okay.
Your playing around in the Photoshop turned out really great! Isn´t it nice to learn such new things? It´s a good idea that you keep your camera in the pocket! It´s only a few days ago as I went shopping in the city and there I missed a chance for a great shot because I didn´t have a camera in my pocket. There was a man with a donkey walking through the city LOL That would have been a great shot for me…
So, I hope you won´t miss such chances 🙂
    Have a great day,

  3. GM Bev,
I’m so sorry to hear about your friends. May the Lord be with them.
There’s a lot of fun things I’ve learned through tutorials and just playing around with different buttons. It’s the best way to learn! Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing with us! Thank you also for stopping by my blog yesterday and leaving such a nice comment for me! 🙂
Take care and I hope all is well.

  4. Sorry to hear about your friends Bev. Hope they are doing okay.

I love your ‘experiement’! Have you thought of trying to make a brush with the top one…. 😉
